日本のトイレのつかいかた
国によって、トイレのつかいかたはちがいます。知らなくても、わるいことではありません。日本でまず知っておきたいことを、かんたんに勉強しましょう。
STEP 1 マークをたしかめる
✓ 入口のマークと、ならぶ場所を学びます。
入口のマークや文字を見て、自分がつかえるトイレをえらびます。ならぶときは、その入口の列にならびます。
バリアフリートイレや子ども用の設備は、必要な人がいます。施設の案内をたしかめましょう。
STEP 2 便座にすわる
✓ 便座に正しくすわる方法を学びます。
洋式トイレでは、便座にすわってつかいます。
便座の上に足をのせたり、便座の上に立ったりしません。ころぶことがあり、あぶないです。
和式トイレは形がちがいます。つかいかたが分からないときは、むりをせず洋式トイレをさがしましょう。
STEP 3 紙を正しくすてる
✓ 流せる紙と、流してはいけない物を学びます。
つかったトイレットペーパーは、便器の中へ入れて水でながします。
ティッシュ、ウェットティッシュ、紙おむつ、生理用品、たばこ、ガム、食べ物などは、便器へながしません。トイレがつまることがあります。
生理用品は、ふつうは個室の専用ボックスへ入れます。ほかのごみは、施設の表示を見ます。分からないときはスタッフに聞きましょう。
STEP 4 水をながす
✓ 水の流し方と、非常ボタンの違いを学びます。
「流す」のボタン、レバー、センサーなどで水をながします。場所や形はトイレによってちがいます。
「呼出」「非常」は、こまったときのボタンです。 水をながすボタンではありません。
どれか分からないときは、近くの表示をよく見ます。自動で水がながれるトイレもあります。
STEP 5 つぎの人のために
✓ つぎの人のための確認と手洗いを学びます。
- 水がながれたか、たしかめます。
- 便座や床をよごしたら、できる範囲できれいにします。
- トイレットペーパーをたくさん使いすぎません。
- さいごに手をあらいます。
設備がこわれている、または大きくよごれているときは、スタッフに知らせましょう。

✓ こまったときに使える日本語を学びます。

Cara menggunakan toilet berbeda di setiap negara. Tidak tahu bukan berarti Anda melakukan sesuatu yang buruk. Mari pelajari hal-hal dasar yang perlu diketahui di Jepang.
STEP 1 Periksa tanda
✓ Belajar memeriksa tanda dan tempat mengantre.
Lihat simbol dan tulisan di pintu masuk, lalu pilih toilet yang dapat Anda gunakan. Jika ada antrean terpisah, antrelah di jalur untuk pintu masuk tersebut.
Toilet aksesibel dan fasilitas anak dibutuhkan oleh sebagian pengguna. Ikuti petunjuk fasilitas.
STEP 2 Duduk di dudukan

STEP 3 Buang kertas dengan benar

Masukkan tisu toilet bekas ke dalam kloset, lalu siram.
Jangan menyiram tisu wajah, tisu basah, popok, pembalut, puntung rokok, permen karet, atau makanan. Benda-benda itu dapat menyumbat toilet.
Biasanya pembalut dibuang ke kotak khusus di dalam bilik. Untuk sampah lain, ikuti petunjuk fasilitas atau tanyakan kepada staf.
STEP 4 Siram toilet
✓ Belajar cara menyiram dan membedakan tombol darurat.
Gunakan tombol, tuas, atau sensor bertuliskan “流す” untuk menyiram. Bentuk dan posisinya berbeda-beda.
“呼出” dan “非常” adalah tombol panggilan darurat. Itu bukan tombol siram.
Periksa petunjuk di sekitar toilet. Sebagian toilet menyiram secara otomatis.
STEP 5 Untuk pengguna berikutnya
✓ Belajar memeriksa toilet dan mencuci tangan.
- Pastikan toilet sudah tersiram.
- Jika dudukan atau lantai kotor, bersihkan sebisanya.
- Jangan menggunakan tisu toilet berlebihan.
- Cuci tangan setelah selesai.

How to Use Toilets in Japan
Toilet customs differ between countries. Not knowing them is not a bad thing. Here are the basic points you should know in Japan.
STEP 1 Check the signs
✓ Learn which sign to check and where to queue.
Check the symbol and words at the entrance, then choose a toilet you can use. If there are separate lines, join the line for that entrance.
Accessible toilets and child-care facilities are needed by some users. Follow the facility’s signs.
STEP 2 Sit on the seat
✓ Learn how to sit correctly on a Western-style toilet.
On a Western-style toilet, sit on the toilet seat.
Do not put your feet on the seat or stand on it. You could fall and be injured.
Japanese squat toilets have a different shape. If you are unsure how to use one, look for a Western-style toilet.
STEP 3 Dispose of paper correctly
✓ Learn what can and must not be flushed.
Put used toilet paper in the bowl and flush it.
Do not flush facial tissues, wet wipes, diapers, sanitary products, cigarette butts, gum, or food. They can block the toilet.
Sanitary products usually go in the dedicated bin inside the stall. For other waste, follow the facility’s signs or ask staff.
STEP 4 Flush
✓ Learn how to flush and identify emergency buttons.
Use the flush button, lever, or sensor marked “流す.” Its shape and position vary.
“呼出” and “非常” are emergency-call buttons. They are not flush buttons.
Check the signs near the toilet. Some toilets flush automatically.
STEP 5 For the next person
✓ Learn final checks and hand washing.
- Check that the toilet has flushed.
- If you soil the seat or floor, clean it as much as you safely can.
- Do not use more toilet paper than necessary.
- Wash your hands when finished.
Tell staff if the toilet is broken or badly soiled.
STEP 6 Japanese for getting help
✓ Learn simple Japanese for asking for help.
Cách dùng nhà vệ sinh ở Nhật Bản
Cách sử dụng nhà vệ sinh khác nhau tùy từng quốc gia. Không biết trước không phải là điều xấu. Hãy cùng học những điều cơ bản cần biết tại Nhật Bản.
STEP 1 Kiểm tra ký hiệu

STEP 4 Xả nước
